Camping de l’Ile des 3 Rois in Les Andelys is located on the banks of the Seine River. At the campground you may fish in the fish pond, as well as in the Seine. Fishing in the Seine requires a permit. The campground has a heated outdoor swimming pool with a children’s pool. Children can have fun in the playground with swings, slides and a bouncy castle. The city of Rouen is 40 kilometers from the campsite and well worth a visit.
The town of Giverny is also worth exploring, in Giverny you can visit the house and gardens of Claude Monet. Claude Monet said of Giverny “In this village with its timeless charm, light shines like nowhere else.” Camping de l’Ile des 3 Rois is open from mid-March to mid-November. The GR 2 hiking trail passes by the campground. A charging station for electric vehicles is located 350 meters from the campsite.
